The Meier's German Adventure

We have visitors! Sheryl and Paul and the girls - Stephanie and Emily got into Germany yesterday for a visit. Today we drove up to the town of Rudesheim to board a river cruise on the Rhine. This is part of the Rhine Valley ( Rheintal) in Germany - one of the country's other wine regions. The difference here is that the vineyards grow along the river on VERY steep hills. It was so picturesque. And yes - that IS a Harley Davidson flag flying from the castle tower. Later in the summer the town hosts Harley Days.
